It Would Be Better for the Whole World if Trump Returns to the White House, Says Orban

It would be better for the whole world if former U.S. President Donald Trump returned to the White House, as there were no conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine during his presidency, stated Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“President Trump was a president of peace. He was respected around the world and thus created conditions for peace. There was peace in the Middle East during his presidency, as well as peace in Ukraine. There would not be a war today if he were still president of the United States. We agreed that there will be peace when global leaders who want peace emerge. I am proud that Hungary is among those countries,” Orban said in a video message posted on social media.

Orban noted that trade between Hungary and the U.S. has exceeded seven billion dollars, but Budapest hopes to receive a new impetus in Hungarian-American trade relations if Trump returns to the White House. “Americans need to make their own decision. And we Hungarians must honestly admit that it would be better for the world, and for Hungary, if President Donald Trump were to return,” Orban added.
