Lars is Closed for Trucks

The road leading to the Upper Lars checkpoint is once again closed for trucks. This information was reported to Sputnik Armenia by Vahan Hakobyan, the customs attaché of the Armenian Embassy in Russia.

“Due to the heavy snowfall in the Gudauri-Kobi section, the Khach mountain pass is closed for trucks in both directions,” he said. The road remains open for light passenger vehicles.
