The Hague Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Two Russian Soldiers

The Hague court has issued arrest warrants for two Russian military personnel, Sergey Kobilash and Viktor Sokolov. According to the statement, both are accused of "crimes committed from at least October 10, 2022, to March 9, 2023." During this period, the suspects conducted missile strikes on Ukraine's electrical infrastructure, including power plants.

The court's press release, published on its website, confirms that the Hague court has found the Russian soldiers guilty of attacks on special civilian facilities that have caused harm to the lives of Ukrainian citizens. Based on the request of the prosecution, two detention orders have been issued.

As per the court's decision, Kobilash and Sokolov are also held responsible for crimes against humanity in the form of "inhumane acts," as they are considered to have directed assaults aimed at the "civilian population."
