Conversation of Senior German Officers Discussing Attack on Crimea Bridge Released

A transcript of a conversation among senior Bundeswehr officers regarding plans to blow up the Crimea Bridge has been published online.

What is mentioned in the transcript? The Bundeswehr air force inspector allowed 100 Taurus missiles to be transported to Kyiv in two batches. The German military discussed the possibility of attacking with these missiles using a Dassault Rafale fighter jet. A Bundeswehr representative stated that the Taurus missiles, once delivered to Ukraine, would be ready for use in 8 months.

One participant in the conversation expressed doubts about the effectiveness of striking the bridge and inquired how many missiles would be required for this. Recently, the issue of transporting Taurus missiles to Kyiv has been actively discussed in Germany. Chancellor Scholz has repeatedly stated that he opposes such deliveries. German military personnel are broaching this topic, with one stating that 'no one knows why the chancellor is blocking those supplies.'

The German Ministry of Defense has declined to comment on the reports regarding the leaked conversation of German military personnel about the attack on the Crimea Bridge. Earlier, this news was reported by Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Russia Today and RT.

The head of operations and training at the Bundeswehr air force command, Greif (featured in the first photo), who participated in the discussion about the attack on the Crimea Bridge, previously served as a military attaché in the United States. Another participant in the conversation, air force inspector Gerharts, has held his position since 2018; according to a document from the Bundeswehr's website, he commands approximately 30,000 personnel.
