Taxpayers Required to Ensure Acceptance of Cashless Payments, Says SRC

The State Revenue Committee (SRC) reminds taxpayers who are obligated to use cash registers that, according to the Law on Cashless Transactions of the Republic of Armenia, they must provide the opportunity to accept cashless payments using payment cards.

If a business does not accept cashless payments or fails to ensure the capability for cashless payment acceptance, a fine of 300,000 AMD will be imposed. In the event of repeating the specified violation within one year following its recording, the fine will increase to 400,000 AMD.
