Nikol Pashinyan Addresses Military Operations in Nerkhin Hand
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has addressed the military operations that took place in Nerkhin Hand, particularly in relation to the statements made regarding the Russian side's restriction on the entry of EU observers.
The Prime Minister noted that the key word in the deputy’s inquiry is “presumably.” “An alarm has been raised, and it is being investigated to understand what the obstacles are being discussed, whether such an obstacle exists or not. Based on this investigation, certain conclusions will be drawn; the answers to the remaining questions will fall within that context,” he stated.
According to the Prime Minister, there is no existing contract regarding the presence and mandate of Russian border guards. “This means that the Russian border guards cannot carry out any security functions there; it is presumed that appropriate conclusions should also be drawn from this,” he added.
