"Allied Relations with Azerbaijan Are Important," Says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his address to the participants of the 12th Russia-Azerbaijan Interregional Forum, emphasized that the cooperation between the regions of the two countries significantly contributes to strengthening trust and understanding between their peoples.

"Regional cooperation is an important component of the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and alliance, which greatly contributes to reinforcing trust and understanding between our peoples, expanding opportunities for mutually beneficial trade, investment, and humanitarian ties, and improving the conditions for the well-being of the citizens of both countries," Putin stated.
