VIDEO: Terror Attack on Ma'ale Adumim-Jerusalem Highway

A terror attack has occurred on Highway 1, located between Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim, involving the use of firearms. Reports indicate that 8 individuals have been injured, with three in serious condition. Two additional victims are in moderate condition, while the others sustained light injuries.

The preliminary investigation reveals that a traffic jam had formed on the highway, which the attackers exploited by opening fire on slow-moving vehicles. Two assailants were neutralized at the scene by armed citizens present on the highway. There were two more individuals in the attackers' vehicle who have been arrested.

During the area examination, another assailant was killed after attempting to hide. Authorities have reported that the police and military are combing the area for possible accomplices, advising motorists to avoid the vicinity as the road is closed. The municipality has urged residents of Ma'ale Adumim to remain indoors.

Witnesses at the scene described two armed assailants shooting among a crowded intersection, targeting passengers in their vehicles. Approximately an hour after the attack, it was announced that an Israeli citizen had been killed, though their name has not been released.
