VIDEO: How Many Citizens Have Paid the Fee to Avoid Mandatory Military Service

The law has already been adopted, signed by the President of Armenia, and is currently in effect. We have citizens who have applied and wish to take advantage of this law. This was stated by Hayk Sargsyan, a deputy from the ruling Civil Contract party during a conversation with journalists.

According to him, 10 citizens have already expressed a desire to pay 15 million AMD to avoid military service. “There are citizens who want to benefit from the law; they have already paid 15 million AMD to bypass mandatory military service. In the near future, the cases filed against them will be closed,” said the deputy, who is the author of the legislative amendment, to reporters.
