VIDEO: Illegally Held Weapons Discovered in 56-Year-Old Resident's Home

The Criminal Investigators of the Erevan Police Department received operational information on February 6 that a 56-year-old resident of the Sari Takh neighborhood was illegally storing weapons and ammunition at home.

A criminal case was initiated, and on February 13, following a court order, investigators searched the mentioned residence. During the search, 125 bullets of various calibers were found, a type AKS 74 assault rifle in 5.45 mm caliber with a magazine, a double-barreled shotgun without a factory number, a signal pistol, a switchblade, two grenades of the F-1 and RGД-5 types, 48 bullets for a TOZ rifle, a magazine for the assault rifle, and the firing mechanism of the assault rifle.

The individual has been arrested and taken to the Erevan Police Department. An investigation is underway.
