VIDEO: Manvel Khachatryan Defeats Turkish Competitor at Wrestling European Championship

In an exciting match at the European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship taking place in Bucharest, Romania, Manvel Khachatryan secured a victory in the quarterfinals of the 55 kg weight category by defeating the reigning European champion, Turkish wrestler Adem Burak Uzun, with a score of 13:5. This victory advances Khachatryan to the semifinals.

It is noteworthy that other members of our national team also competed in the quarter-finals, including Malhas Amoyan and Davit Ovasapyan. Amoyan, competing in the 77 kg weight category, won decisively against Italy's Riccardo Vito Abrescia with a score of 10:1. Meanwhile, Davit Ovasapyan began his journey with a 6:0 victory over Switzerland's Delishah Alishani in the qualification round and then continued to the quarter-finals after defeating Serbian competitor Petrusic 5:0 in the round of 16.
