The Georgian Presidential Administration has announced that Salome Zurabishvili congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the elections. The report states that Zurabishvili sent an official letter to the Azerbaijani leader on February 9.

Meanwhile, according to Sputnik Georgia, there is no congratulatory message from her on the official website of the Azerbaijani president. In contrast, there are congratulatory messages from Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and other leaders from several countries.

It is worth reminding that earlier, Zurabishvili faced criticism in Georgia for not congratulating Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the Azerbaijani presidential elections.
