Nearly 800 pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated near the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, demanding that the institution sever ties with donors associated with Israel.

The museum reportedly closed its galleries to the public at 3:45 PM local time on Saturday after protesters occupied the second-floor atrium during the demonstration, which coincided with a protest at the Brooklyn Museum, according to Hyperallergic.
