Ararat Municipality Addresses Reports on Removal of National Heroes' Images

The Ararat Municipality has released a clarification in response to reports circulating in the media regarding the removal of images of national heroes from a two-way street and an area adjacent to the central square of Ararat city.

The clarification specifically states: “The images in these locations, made from posters, had long been damaged due to wind, rain, and dust, and were in very poor condition, no longer subject to restoration. Given this situation, as the area was constantly exposed to vehicle water and other emissions, the municipality plans to allocate a new space for the images of the heroes to avoid all the aforementioned disruptive factors.

It should also be noted that the images had been removed from the site about a year ago. Once again, we urge the public to refrain from spreading unverified, especially false information.”

Earlier, it was reported that images of national heroes had been removed from a park in Ararat.
