But if we are to secure the future, we need to change our approach to what is changing. As I said, the world will change regardless of how the events in Ukraine end. The world is changing,” said the Russian president.

Putin noted that American experts are writing that the U.S. is gradually changing its position in the world, but the question arises as to how this will happen – painfully, quickly, or smoothly and gradually.

“This is written by people who do not have anti-American sentiments; they are just observing the trends in global development. That’s all. To assess these and change political policy, we need people who think ahead, can analyze, and offer certain decisions at the level of political leadership,” the Russian leader added.
