The West fears a stronger China more than a stronger Russia, stated Russian President Vladimir Putin during an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson.

“The West fears a stronger China more than a stronger Russia because there are 150 million people in Russia, and one and a half billion in China. China's economy is experiencing explosive growth of over five percent annually, which is sufficient for China. Bismarck once said, 'The main thing is potential.' China's potential is enormous; it is currently the world's largest economy in terms of purchasing power parity and economic volume. They have already outpaced the United States quite some time ago, and the pace is accelerating,” said Putin.
