VIDEO: There is no question of entering into a share, says Prime Minister
“At one time, state property was given away for free, but now it is given to the state for free, and not universally and in all cases, but when those projects have issues of legitimacy behind them,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan clarified in response to a question from Armenia's ‘Hayastan’ faction MP Tadevos Avetisyan.
He also assured that there is no question of entering into a share: “No one has been deprived of their own property.”
According to the Prime Minister, the new owners, understanding the internal legitimacy-related issues, did not want to have internal clashes: “They say that these companies have stories behind them, and they do not want to share that burden at the cost of their business reputation; they do not want to be the heirs of a bad story. They want the government to stand by them so that everyone sees that they are not taking away from the country, but bringing to the country.”
