Gold World Closed Indefinitely

The shopping center "Gold World" located at 24 Khorenatsi Street in Yerevan has been closed indefinitely due to violations related to fire safety regulations. This was reported to the media by the State Urban Development, Technical, and Fire Safety Inspectorate.

The decision was made on January 23. The owner of "Gold World," Vaghars Abrahamyan, has submitted a request for inspections, assuring that the violations have already been rectified. However, the Inspectorate stated that it is still unclear when inspections will be carried out and when a decision will be made.

It is worth noting that "Gold World" was also closed in 2023 due to violations regarding fire safety regulations. Based on a directive from the head of the Inspectorate on January 25, 2023, a fire hazard assessment was conducted at "Vaghars and Sons LLC," which revealed that the buildings and structures of "Gold World" were operating with numerous deficiencies and violations of fire safety regulatory documents.
