Transport Price Increase Project Removed from Council Agenda

The issue of implementing a unified ticketing system has been removed from the agenda of the city council meeting scheduled for February 13. This information was shared by Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan on his Facebook page.

"The draft decision of the council aimed at introducing a unified ticketing system has become a subject of quite extensive discussions. The encouraging part is that aside from political manipulation and blatant lies, I have encountered very restrained, civilized, and constructive criticism and inquiries. In this context, I have decided to set aside those manipulations and fictitious noise as much as possible and focus on the discourse whose aim is not merely to throw mud but to genuinely reach a correct and fair decision.

I want to assure everyone that all questions and constructive criticism have become an occasion for further discussion and clarification of the project within the city hall. Therefore, I have asked the mayor to remove the issue from the agenda of the upcoming city council meeting to allow for a more comprehensive discussion and to present the draft again for council review," he wrote.
