Severe Blizzard: Several Roads Closed

As of February 6 at 17:10, due to a severe blizzard and low visibility, the road section from the village of Thoros to Bavra is closed for vehicles with trailers. This was reported by the Road Department.

Due to the heavy snowfall, the road from the Sisian junction to 'Zanger' is unidirectionally closed for vehicles with trailers. The roads from Tsilkar to Gegharput, from the M-4 interstate road to Semyonovka, Vardenats mountain pass, and the Ttujur-Navur highway are closed for all types of vehicles.

Because of the blizzard, the roads from the Harjisi junction to Goris and from Shenuhair to Tatev are closed for vehicles with trailers, while other types of vehicles face difficulties.

Due to low visibility and snowfall, the roads in the regions of Aragats, Gavar, Sisian, Goris, and the Jraber-Fanta highway are difficult to traverse. Light snow is falling in the regions of Aparan and Shorja, while there are patches of black ice on the roads in the Gavar region.

Other interstate and national significance roads remain open.
