"We Escaped Death by a Hair" - Icicles Fell on a Citizen
In the Avan administrative district, an icicle fell on a citizen who was out for a walk. This was reported by user Lilit Adibekyan on her Facebook page.
“Dear Yerevan Municipality, can you tell us who is responsible for the removal of icicles hanging from the roofs of the city’s buildings? Today, icicles fell on me and my dog from the building at 29 Duryan Street in Avan. We escaped death by a hair and narrowly avoided serious bodily injury. Who will be held accountable for this? The next person may not be as lucky as I was, and they could simply die from the impact of a three-story icicle. I understand that if we lived in a legal country, I would sue you, but that is pointless. Therefore, my question is: who should clean the icicles from the roofs and why is it not being done?”
