Teen Beats Mother for Not Waking Him Up for Exam in Singapore

In Singapore, a 16-year-old boy assaulted his mother because she did not wake him up for an exam. This was reported by AsiaOne, with information sourced from gazeta.ru.

According to media reports, the attack resulted in the woman sustaining a rib fracture. It is known that the boy's father was present at home during the incident but did not intervene in the conflict between his son and wife.

Authorities revealed that the son has a history of assaulting his mother. The most recent incident occurred after he was dissatisfied with the fact that she did not awaken him for an English exam, for which he was allegedly preparing until five in the morning.

The student's lawyer added that his client admits his guilt and understands that he has acted wrongly. The teenager is now living apart from his mother and is not exhibiting aggression towards other family members. Additionally, he has been ordered to complete 100 hours of community service as mandated by the court.
