Discount Tariffs Will Be Implemented for Various Groups (Pensioners, Students, etc.) - Deputy Mayor
The Yerevan City Hall has circulated a draft decision of the council aimed at ensuring the full implementation of a unified ticketing system. This was announced by Yerevan Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan on his Facebook page.
“The Yerevan City Hall has circulated a draft decision of the council aimed at ensuring the full implementation of a unified ticketing system. Although the presentation of the draft is intended for discussion within various frameworks, some council members have not hesitated to already spread out-of-context and factually inaccurate information,” he wrote.
“Tomorrow, I will be on Public TV to present the project, its objectives, and its current content, some parts of which we do not exclude may change based on constructive criticism and arguments, but never based on manipulation and deceit.”
“I will now just note that:
- As in the rest of the world, the unified ticketing system will include ticket products designed for individuals who regularly use public transport (at comparatively affordable prices) and primarily for tourists and city guests (at comparatively higher prices).
- Discount tariffs will be implemented for various groups (pensioners, students, etc.),” he added.
