Armenia Must Decide on the Future Development Format of Atomic Energy: 'Rosatom'

Armenia must determine the future development format of its atomic energy sector within the next one and a half to two years. This statement was made by Alexei Likhachev, the CEO of the state corporation 'Rosatom', in an interview with the 'Russia 24' television channel.

Speaking about Russia's agreements in this sector with other countries, the CEO also mentioned Armenia, stressing that Yerevan has long been a member of the atomic energy club.

Likhachev noted that 'Rosatom' is in a high readiness phase for agreements with Turkey and Bangladesh and is conducting negotiations with Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
