Zelensky is in a Difficult Situation: Peskov
Edita
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently facing a challenging situation as Western allies have reduced their support for his country. This opinion was expressed by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, as quoted by TASS.
“Zelensky is in a difficult situation,” said the Kremlin representative. In his view, this is related to the fact that the Ukrainian leader has “stopped receiving funds from abroad.” As Peskov noted, there are also signs of unrest within Ukraine at this time.
In November, Zelensky acknowledged the grave situation on the front lines but refused to engage in negotiations with Russia. The Ukrainian president has described the Western assistance as inadequate.
