Video Report: Current Conditions on the Road to Dilijan

Auroranews has received reports from citizens that the road to Dilijan has not been cleared of snow, making it difficult to traverse, and drivers are struggling to operate their vehicles.

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

The roads around Stepanavan, Spitak, and Dilijan, as well as the Bagratashen-Ijevan and Vanadzor-Dilijan highways, are closed for trucks with trailers.

The Gyumri-Bavra road, Vardenyats Pass are closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to navigate for other types of vehicles.

The roads in the Ashotsk region leading from M4 to Fantan, Jrarber villages, Dilijan's switchbacks, and the Saravan-Zanger section are impassable for all types of vehicles.

In Syunik Province, the segment of the Yerevan-Sevan highway from 24 to 39 km (blizzard), Vanadzor-Dilijan and the road from M2 to the city of Jermuk are difficult for trucks with trailers to navigate.

Snowfall is occurring in the regions of Syunik, Vayots Dzor, Lori, Tavush, Shirak, Kotayk, Aragats region, Vardenyats Pass, as well as in the towns of Sevan, Chambarak, and Vardenis.

Blizzard conditions are reported in Vardenyats Pass, the "Chaynii switchbacks", the Saravan-Zanger section, and in the Ashotsk and Amasia regions.
