VIDEO: "Large businesses more frequently enter the regulatory field," Suren Grigoryan

Today, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan was informed that the contract for the dismantling services of unauthorized advertisements will be signed this week, after which the dismantling work will commence. It was also reported that during the accountability period, 167 unauthorized advertisements have been dismantled.

In this regard, Tigran Avinyan stated, "Let’s not end up forcing small shops and kiosks to dismantle their signage while the larger ones benefit from privileged conditions." The mayor instructed that a subsequent separate report be presented regarding which aspects of large businesses have been addressed. "We will resolve the issues concerning large businesses comprehensively, and then we will look at the rest," said Tigran Avinyan.

Deputy Mayor Suren Grigoryan added that large businesses operating according to network logic have been entering the regulatory field more frequently and adjusting their sketches accordingly. "If the deadlines are unreasonably long or formal, we will keep their activities under close scrutiny," Grigoryan said.
