«Zinuzh» has prepared a video about one of them, Milena Yenokyan. It turns out that for two years she applied to the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy, but was not admitted due to vision problems. She recently had surgery on her eyes and, following medical examinations, was deemed fit for service.

By profession, she is a programmer, engaged in sports, and aspires to receive a military higher education. Milena dreams of having a powerful army and believes that it is each person's duty to contribute to that cause.

Let's recall that in June 2023, the Armenian National Assembly approved a draft law on voluntary service for women in the military. Women aged 18-27 can apply for military service. The service period will be 6 months, and any time before the start of service (but not after) it will be possible to withdraw from it. The service will take place in a separate military unit.

After completing six months of service, soldiers will receive a reward of 1 million drams. Those wishing to continue service can apply through the “Defender of the Homeland” program and serve for a period of 5 years, after which they will receive 5 million drams.
