Foreign Ministry: No New Meeting of Armenian-Turkish Negotiators Planned
There is no planned meeting between the special representatives in the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey. This was reported to "Azatutyun" by the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
At the end of last year, official Yerevan expressed optimism that there might soon be good news regarding the Armenia-Turkey normalization process, at least concerning previous agreements.
Special negotiators Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kilic last met on June 1, 2022, in Vienna, marking the official fourth meeting between the negotiators. During that meeting, the parties agreed to open the land border for citizens of third countries as soon as possible. However, there has been no progress in the implementation of this agreement.
