My remarks are directed to the head of the Government. We heard the interview with Aliyev, which you characterized as civilized and constructive; of course, it was aggressive—outrageously aggressive. We also heard your pitiful response.

This was stated by Levon Kocharyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, during a Q&A session with the Government in the National Assembly.

“Why are you so scared? You love to document; you note that all proposals are rejected by Aliyev. Now, he is also suggesting mutual control of armaments. Honestly, are you naive, or is there something else? Don’t you see that the false peace is a failed agenda? You have failed too,” he stated.

In response to Levon Kocharyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, said, “Mr. Kocharyan, first be correct; the elected leader of the Republic of Armenia is speaking. I understand this is a unique situation for you—it's surprising, but be correct.”

Before Nikol Pashinyan’s speech, Alen Simonian also added, addressing Levon Kocharyan, “You are the one who has lost at this moment.”
