Fire in Oshakan: One Fatality

On January 17, 2024, at 03:23, the emergency response center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue department received a call reporting a fire in one of the houses on the second alley of Hovhannisyan Street in Oshakan village. This information has been confirmed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Yerevan and the regional office were dispatched to the scene. It was established that the fire broke out in a construction adjacent to one of the houses (30 square meters).

The fire was contained by 04:04 and extinguished by 05:57. The stone construction was burned down, and inside, the body of a citizen was discovered.
