Photos: Major Car Accident in Yerevan, Injuries Reported

A major car accident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 06:00, 38-year-old Karen Hovhannisyan, a resident of Shirak Province, crashed his BMW into the basalt curbs of the well-known 15th district circular intersection while driving from the Ashtarak highway to Shiraz street. Afterward, he continued forward and collided with a metal electric pole.

According to shamshyan.com, three individuals were hospitalized with bodily injuries at the Armenia Medical Center as a result of the accident. The driver underwent a sobriety test and was found to be intoxicated. Following the investigator's instructions, the vehicle is being transferred to the protected area of the Police Department of Yerevan.
