Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway Leaves One Injured

On January 9, at 03:23, the National Crisis Management Center received a report about an accident in the Chayni twist, near a gas station, where a "Mazda" vehicle had collided with a truck, leaving one citizen trapped and in need of rescue assistance. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

A rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene. It was confirmed that on the 17th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a "Mazda" car (driver: T. M., born 1992) collided with a "ZIL" truck (driver: V. Gh., born 1995).

The rescuers managed to disconnect the power supply to the "Mazda" vehicle, closed the valve of the gas tank, and assisted passenger D. B. (born 1992) from the "Mazda" vehicle, who was transported to a medical center for treatment.
