Bus Blocked in Debris Flow, Rescuers Come to Assistance

At 10:14 AM today, the Crisis Management Center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Service received information that a bus had gone off the traffic area on the Vayk-Saravan highway and was blocked in a roadside debris flow. No injuries were reported, but rescuers were needed to extract the vehicle.

This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue service has been deployed to the scene.

Rescuers have successfully removed the Scania bus (driven by M.F. with 20 passengers) from the debris flow at the 151st km of the M-2 highway stretch between Yerevan and Meghri.
