Fire Breaks Out in a School Building in Vanadzor
At 05:01 today, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a fire that broke out in a school building in the city of Vanadzor, Lori Province. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Two fire rescue teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had ignited on the roof of a one-story building on School Street (an inactive section of the school) covering approximately 1600 square meters. A complexity level of "Number 2" was declared for the fire.
Additionally, two more fire teams and a water tanker were sent to the scene. The fire was contained by 05:49 and extinguished by 08:10.
