Photo Report: Fire at One of Vanadzor's Schools - What We Know

On January 5, at 05:01, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a fire broke out in one of the former buildings of a school in Vanadzor, Lori Province. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

It was noted that two firefighting teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

"It was determined that the fire erupted in the roof of a one-story building on School Street (the former school building), covering an area of about 1000 square meters. A level 2 complexity of the fire was declared. Two additional firefighting teams and one water tanker were sent to the location. The fire was contained at 05:49," the statement said.
