Passengers Stranded for Over 10 Hours Unable to Fly from Moscow

Passengers of Nordwind Airlines have been unable to fly from Moscow to Venezuela for more than 10 hours. They have been called to board their flight twice, but both departures have been delayed. Overall, the delay could exceed 15 hours.

According to data from the SHOT Telegram channel, the flight from Sheremetyevo to Porlamar was scheduled to depart at 03:05. Around 6 AM, passengers boarded a Boeing 777-200, took their seats, and prepared for a 14-hour flight. The plane moved a few meters toward the runway, but returned to the terminal due to a technical malfunction.

After that, the flight was rescheduled to 12:30 PM. At this moment, travelers have been called to the aircraft again, but the plane still hasn’t taken off. According to passengers interviewed by the Telegram channel, they are currently waiting for a backup aircraft to arrive from Cuba, with some expressing a desire to cancel their trip.
