Details on the School Shooting in the U.S.

On the morning of January 4th, a 17-year-old shooter in Iowa killed a sixth-grade student and injured five others. This was reported by local authorities.

According to officials, among the five injured are four students and one school staff member, as reported by CNN. The shooter took his own life after committing the crime and acted alone.

During a search of the school, a homemade explosive device was also discovered and subsequently defused.

It is important to note that a shooting had occurred the day before at a high school in Iowa, where approximately 1,700 students are enrolled.
