Over 400 Migrants Registered for Military Service in Russia

In Yekaterinburg, more than 400 migrants have been summoned for military registration as a result of verification visits. This information was reported by URA.RU, referencing the Investigative Committee of the Central Federal District. The location is also noted by gazeta.ru.

According to officials, since the end of November last year, 450 immigrants have received notices. It has been noted that the number of such citizens is increasing day by day. "More than 150 foreign nationals have signed contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense," the organization reported.

It has been reported that during the New Year holidays, law enforcement officials checked several shopping centers. As a result, 15 immigrants were detained, who had previously obtained Russian citizenship but avoided military service.

Earlier, in St. Petersburg, thousands of immigrants were detained on the night of January 1.
