VIDEO: After All, It’s the 21st Century, It’s Shameful – Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, addressed the implementation of an electronic notification system: "This will allow us to generate a bank of electronic addresses. We will carry out digital notifications so that the function of moving bundles of paper from here to there will no longer exist. After all, it’s the 21st century; it’s shameful! We are spending billions on printing paper and delivering it to people or slipping it between doors, which is absolutely not a function of the 21st century," he stated.
Armenian Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan also noted that annually, 3 billion drams are spent from the budget on notifications for state institutions. "The highest expenditure is incurred by the courts, followed by the Traffic Police, and one billion drams are distributed among all agencies," he added.
