Lavrov Comments on Western Plans to Freeze Conflict Leaks

The United States will somehow figure out how to declare a "victory" in the Ukraine conflict while attempting to freeze the situation, as they are not the first to do so. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with TASS.

“Regarding the leaks about the West’s intentions to freeze the conflict in Ukraine and present it as a victorious nation, we know about the West's, primarily the United States', capability to declare 'victories.' We know how they 'won' in both Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq,” Lavrov said.

Lavrov reminded that none of the countries where the U.S. used its own interests abroad began to live better and richer as a result. Meanwhile, Lavrov and Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar have discussed issues of military-technical cooperation at a reception. The Russian minister noted that Moscow sees progress in its cooperation with Delhi in the field of modern armament production.
