Banksy's new anti-war artwork was stolen just one hour after being hung on the street. The artist placed a STOP sign on a street in London, featuring three military drones painted on it. He later posted a photo of the new work on Instagram, marking the location, which immediately attracted people wanting to see it.
Witnesses reported that the thief was a man who removed the artwork with a screwdriver and then fled the scene. Local police have not opened an investigation into the incident.
Banksy is regarded as one of the world’s most famous street artists, with his works known globally. Notably, he has created dozens of pieces in Ukraine dedicated to the war.
