Road Conditions Update: New Data

The Emergency Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd fortress and the Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed. The Vardenyats Pass (with snow and blizzard conditions) is closed for trucks.

On the roads leading to the town of Jermuk in the Vayots Dzor region, and in the Syunik region on the Tatev-Ltsen, Goris-Sisian, and Sisian-"Zanger" sections, as well as in the Aragatsotn region in the Aparan, Aragatz, and Talin areas, there are patches of black ice.

Snow is falling in the sections of Saravan-"Zanger", "Meghri Mountain", Ashotsk (with blizzard conditions), Amasia (with blizzard conditions), Ani (with blizzard conditions), regions of Aragats, Aparan, Talin (with blizzard conditions), Hrazdan, Gyumri, Jermuk, and in the village of Achuyn.

The Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to all types of vehicles.
