Argentina's New President to Lay Off 7,000 Public Employees

Argentina's new president Javier Milei is set to lay off 7,000 public employees as part of a decree to reduce public spending. According to sources from the Infocielo publication, those who signed employment contracts after January 1, 2023, will be dismissed. The government is currently preparing a draft of the decree.
Previously, Argentine residents had taken to the streets in protest against the new reforms.
