Be Cautious: Bank and Personal Data Theft Incidents Have Increased During Holiday Periods, Armenian Card CJSC

Armenian Card CJSC (ArCa) warns that incidents of bank and personal data theft have become more frequent during the holiday period.

“Be careful, dear cardholders, particularly during the holiday season, scams are becoming more frequent. This is especially true for cases involving the completion of bank and personal data through fake links sent via social media or email,” the company stated.

The company advises to pay attention to the web address of the page that opens with the link. The address line for all services provided by Armenian Card in the virtual environment should include the term arca.am. If there are any other combinations present alongside the term arca, do not activate the link and under no circumstances fill in any card or personal information after activating it.

If you accidentally provided your details and activated the button, immediately contact your bank to block your card,” the company emphasized.
