VIDEO: Anomalous Snow, Ice Rain, and Heavy Precipitation in Russia

Russian channels have released a series of footage about heavy precipitation and its consequences in the central regions of Russia in December. It is reported that one-fifth of the monthly precipitation fell in Moscow.

In the Belgorod region and Rostov-on-Don, ice rain has caused streets and cars to be coated with a frozen crust. Residents of high-rise buildings in Voronezh went out to clear their yards.

Several coastal villages in Kamchatka, including Vivenka, Ivashka, and Ilypirskoe village in the Karaginskiy district, have been flooded, prompting people to prepare boats for navigating the area.

Anomalous snow has also been recorded in Bryansk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Voronezh, and Kursk regions.
