Video: Discrepancy Between Traffic Sign and Road Markings on Halabyan Street

In Yerevan, at the end of Halabyan Street, near the intersection leading to the Davtashen Bridge and Davtashen village, there is a discrepancy between a traffic sign and the road markings. Auroranews has received numerous reports regarding this issue.

As seen in the photo, the traffic sign for the third lane of the road (the one hanging above) indicates only a left turn, while the road markings show both left and straight directions. Following the reports, Auroranews contacted the Yerevan Municipality, where officials informed us that road works are being carried out in this area and, as a result, the markings will not be changed at this time.

The municipality has stated that the markings will be aligned by the end of the year. We urge drivers to be cautious and follow only the traffic sign (located above), until the markings and the traffic sign are synchronized.
