VIDEO: Traffic Organization Changes in Certain Sections of Gayi Avenue

In the capital, to increase the accessibility of transportation flows, changes in traffic organization will be implemented at the intersections of Gayi Avenue – Hovhannisyan Street and Gayi Avenue – Kocharyan Street starting from December 15. This was announced by the Yerevan Municipality.

“At the Gayi Avenue – Kocharyan Street intersection, an additional traffic lane will be added coming from the direction of the Gayi Avenue – Hovhannisyan Street intersection, designated as 'left turn only.' At the Gayi Avenue – Hovhannisyan Street intersection, left turns towards Baghan Street will be prohibited coming from the direction of the Gayi Avenue – Kocharyan Street intersection; traffic will be allowed 'straight only' from the third lane,” the statement said.

It has also been reported that simultaneously, the road signs and markings along Gayi Avenue will be adjusted to correspond to the layout intended for public transportation vehicles.
