‘So who says I won’t return? You will hear a lot soon,’ says Mihran Poghosyan

MediaHub conducted an interview with former MP Mihran Poghosyan, against whom Armenian law enforcement authorities have initiated a criminal case and announced a manhunt.

Recently, Russian Telegram channels reported that the traffic police in Moscow stopped your vehicle, checked the documents, and subsequently arrested you. What do you have to say about this?

Poghosyan responded, “Well, 99 percent of the information related to me is nonsense, and the one percent is some kind of speculation. In other words, some people may have a lot of desires, and within that scope of desires they express their thoughts. But that’s where it all ends. There is no issue of arrest because that issue was resolved back in 2019.”

When asked if he wishes to return to Armenia, and what led him to leave the country and not return, he replied: “So who says I won’t return? Have I made such a statement? You will hear a lot soon. In any case, the Republic of Armenia is my country, and no one can do anything so that I do not return, not even with the greatest desire. It’s just that today it is not safe for me there, which is why I am not there.”
