Delimitation with Azerbaijan is a Long and Complex Process, Demarcation Work May Take Years: Mher Grigoryan
The "Crossroads of Peace" program already has infrastructures that have been developed and are in the implementation phase, such as the "North-South" road.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan during a briefing with journalists. He announced that the indicative cost of the Horadiz-Erasakh railway, according to an opinion received a year ago, will be 230 million dollars.
Regarding the demarcation process, Grigoryan stated that there are no dates set for the next meeting with Azerbaijan. "The demarcation and delimitation process will take quite a long time because the process is quite complicated. The parties will work exclusively with topographic maps and also only with documents that have legal significance," Grigoryan noted, pointing out that delimitation with Azerbaijan is a long and complex process, and the work of the commissions on demarcation issues could take years.
